Face mask / neck gaiter by Seirus Innovation
This suggestion may seem a bit old school but it works for many reasons.
Knicker length base layer and pants, along with gaiters. Your calfs generate enough heat so you don’t have to worrie about keeping them warm and any lower leg material will inevitably end up wet. Use the gaiters for protection from rain, snow, scrub, or cold when conditions warrant. Have fun on your trip.
